Market Intelligence Representative (Field Position)

It is very easy to become a Market Intelligence Representative as an independent contractor. Earn extra money doing something you like with lots of flexibility! This position offers flexible work hours in a very entrepreneurial environment. The position pay is per store visit and varies depending on your geographic area and assignment details. Normally visits last between 15 minutes and 1 hour.


–  take ongoing certification courses and quizzes online to prepare for assignments
–  occasionally attend project-specific conference calls
–  perform blind (anonymous) audit assignments – visit retail establishments during the week or weekends pretending to be a regular customer
–  perform open audit assignments – visit retail stores and survey store employees and/or consumers
–  gather required market intelligence information
–  gather competitive intelligence information
–  gather quality assurance information
–  occasionally perform minor merchandising/detailing activities
–  report findings on a web based reporting system


–  self-starter/self-motivated
–  detail oriented with highest levels of integrity
–  able to learn quickly
–  able to memorize multiple data points
–  excellent verbal and written skills
–  must be able to improvise and role-play
–  strong time management skills
–  solid computer skills, including MS Windows and Office
–  must have personal mobile phone and computer with printer, internet access and e-mail
–  must have access to reliable personal transportation with insurance
–  must be 18 years of age older
–  ability to travel within specified territory (normally maximum 50 miles radius)
