Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive recruiting professional to build, manage and support a human capital database for an assisted sales program with a part-time model. This Santa Clarita office-based position is an integral part of a national retail program for a large consumer electronics manufacturer with the primary focus on sourcing, screening and referring well-qualified applicants to the Field Managers with emphasis on matching specific candidates with specific positions. The recruiter will be expected to understand and support the recruiting needs and proactively seek and maintain a pool of well-qualified candidates.  The position will also serve as an effective liaison for the Human Resources Department with special emphasis on developing relationships with a variety of sources of applicant referrals.


– Identify proper sources for qualified and quality candidates
– Establish processes and best practices for sourcing of new candidates from the followin (but not limited to) venues: social media (Facebook, job forums, etc.), professional industry organizations (NARMS, ShadowShopper, etc.), colleges, etc.
– Build/maintain relationships with candidate sourcing institutions
– Attend recruitment functions such as job fairs, career days and other events to source candidates
– Maintain a pipeline of new candidates sufficient for ongoing program needs
– Prepare reports on recruitment activity to comply with standard operating procedures
– Communicate regularly with Executive Director and Director of Sales regarding recruiting needs
– Perform any additional responsibilities as determined by mVentix and client management


– College degree or equivalent experience in human resources, psychology, sociology, marketing or related fields
– Minimum of 2 years of recruiting/human resource experience
– Exceptional customer service skills and experience
– Ability to be proactive in identifying recruitment needs and developing intuitive processes
– Interpersonal skills and ability to work in cooperation with others
– Solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other Microsoft applications
– Critical judgment and ability to make decisions that yield optimal results
– Experience recruiting college students for part time work opportunities preferred
– Experience recruiting for seasonal retail jobs preferred
